Steven Lieberson, DPM – Texas Podiatrist

Dr. Steven J. Lieberson was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Regents College – State University of New York, and is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and is authorized by the Texas State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners to supervise Hyperbaric Oxygen in the treatment of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Lieberson relocated to Houston in 1998 after completing his Podiatric Surgical Residency at Kennedy Memorial Hospitals – University Medical Center in New Jersey, where he served as Chief Resident. In Houston, Dr. Lieberson joined the practice of Dr. Jerry Silverman at St. Joseph Hospital located in downtown, and in 2004 they opened an additional location in Sugar Land. Dr. Lieberson is a past President of the Harris County Podiatric Medical Society, and has been a clinical instructor of Podiatric Surgical Residents at St. Joseph Hospital. Currently, Dr. Lieberson serves on the Operating Room Committee at St. Joseph Medical Center, as well as the Surgery Review Team, and is Chairman of the Board of the Downtown Houston PHO.
